This policy explains what personal information the Chandler Gardens website collects, how it is used and protected, and the choices and rights you have.
This website is run by Chandler Gardens (Jon Chandler), a garden maintenance business based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. Chandler Gardens is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy by emailing info@chandlergardens.co.uk or calling 07779 123047.
We only collect personal information that you choose to send us. When you use the contact form, we receive:
your name and email address
your phone number and town or village, if you give them
the service you are interested in and your message
We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange any work you ask for. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries or, where you are asking for a quote or booking work, taking steps before entering into a contract with you.
We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with:
Digital Spa, who designed and maintain this website, and our website hosting and email providers, who process information only so that the website and its forms work
anyone we are required to share it with by law
If you contact us through WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, those companies also handle your message under their own privacy policies.
We keep messages only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, any work we do for you and any follow-up, and then delete them.
Cookies are small files that a website can store on your device. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the website; ordinary visitors are not given these. The website’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts: to deliver them, Google receives your device’s IP address.
The contact form may use Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam, which sends information about your visit to Google. Reviews and Instagram photos shown on the website may be loaded from Elfsight, Google, Facebook and Instagram only after you accept cookies. Where a choice is needed, the cookie banner lets you accept or decline.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it, or to restrict or object to how it is used. To do this, please email info@chandlergardens.co.uk or call 07779 123047.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
